How gut bacteria can be both good and bad for health


Shift workers and frequent fliers are known to be at high risk of obesity and diabetes. Till now, scientists had a simple explanation: disruption of the body clock that affected the body's chemistry and thus led to obesity. Last week, a paper in the journal Cell made a surprising announcement.
